New solutions and perspectives need to be showcased in order to accelerate interest and action. Therefore Doconomy presents and hosts "Doconomy: Stage of Impact" during World Economic Forum in Davos.
A forward leaning event to showcase positive impact companies
Up-and-coming companies will pitch in front of a jury of experts, audience and live-stream. The ambition is to provide a pop-up stage for entrepreneurs that we, and our partners, find valuable and promising with positive impact potential. The entrepreneurs will be able to present directly in front of a jury of industry leaders and receive live actionable feedback that all viewers can benefit from.
In-between the pitches senior thought leaders will share perspectives in an intimate interview format, moderated by Carola Ferstl. Commerz Ventures will do a presentation about “A new ecosystem of financial technology startups is emerging” and WWF will present their new Biodiversity Risk Filter, a tool to support companies and financial institutions in better understanding and addressing their biodiversity-related risks.
Under the theme ‘Cooperation in a Fragmented World’, World Economic Forum 2023 will bring together more than 2,500 leaders from government, business, and civil society, at a pivotal time for the world.

Mathias Wikström, born at 329 ppm, is a Sweden based sustainability business leader and creative strategist who aims to innovate as well as making the complex communicate. He founded Doconomy together with Johan Pihl and spearheaded globally awarded forefront projects in Finance, Sustainability and Human Rights. He has received an EMBA with honors at Stockholm School of Economics with focus on Leading Innovation. Mathias has won several Grand Prix at Cannes Lions and served on many award juries, as President for Innovation in Eurobest amongst others. He is a high scoring speaker at industry summits in Europe, USA, Asia and Latin America as well as with the UN and UNFCCC.
