Doconomy Launches an Impact Council to Accelerate Financial Literacy and Facilitate Impact Engagement for Financial Institutions
This group of leading scientists and senior policy advisors will provide actionable guidance and expert insights to Doconomy’s clients and inform Doconomy’s product development, accelerating key shifts in both financial literacy and impact awareness globally.
Stockholm, Sweden, 19 September 2025 – Doconomy, a leading impact fintech company providing banks with innovative tools to drive financial wellbeing and sustainability worldwide, today announced the formation of its Impact Council.
This group of leading scientists and senior policy advisors will provide actionable guidance and expert insights to Doconomy’s clients and inform Doconomy’s product development, accelerating key shifts in both financial literacy and impact awareness globally.
The Impact Council will support Doconomy's abilities by equipping banks with the tools to empower sustainable consumer choices. As digital financial systems evolve, financial inclusion accelerates and climate-related risks face increasing scrutiny, the Council will offer perspectives to help Doconomy’s clients navigate innovations, market shifts, and opportunities within the climate-finance landscape. It will also foster thought leadership on how executives can redefine their approach to engagement banking powered by the positive outcome for both person and planet.
At the core of the Impact Council is the ambition to identify market opportunities and segmented trends to inspire the development of innovative financial solutions. These solutions will empower financial services to more actively contribute to financial well-being and sustainable consumption.

Dr. Stina Söderqvist (Cognitive Neuroscience) is an expert in integrating insights from behavioral science in product development, ensuring development of engaging and impactful financial products.
Dr. Emma Heikensten (Economics) is an expert in financial inclusion and equality, sustainability frameworks, ESG data integration, regulatory implementation within the banking sector.
Dr. Alexander Schmidt (Econometrics) is an expert in data science, carbon accounting, AI, climate policy, standards and ecosystems.
Paula DiPerna is a widely published author and strategic policy advisor. She has served as the President of the Joyce Foundation and the President of the pioneering Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).
Members of the Impact Council will be introduced during Climate Week NYC, including the Doconomy Stage of Impact at the Chrysler Building on 23rd September, 2025. Over time additional members will be invited to reflect the interconnected potentials shaped by academia, science and commerce.
