How does the climate crisis affect you?
I think all of us notice it in several ways. One thing I, with nostalgia, think of winters filled with snow. Today it’s still 10 degrees Celsius and I’m still wearing my autumn jacket.

How can we be more responsible regarding our climate impact?
We start with the small things in life work ourself upwards. Drastic measures like prohibiting certain things won’t work, but if we can successively decrease our impact we are on the right track, if we all make an effort.

Do you reflect on how your choices affect the planet?
Absolutely! I’m far from perfect and the first to admit that I have been rather lazy, but with time I’ve become more aware and want to contribute. A feeling that has been growing on me as parent.

What are conscious decisions to you?
It might be small things like taking the subway instead of the car when going to town. It’s all about thinking and understanding that everything we do, more or less, makes an impact.

We all have an impact on the climate, but by measuring our impact there is a chance to be more conscious and reduce our impact. It gives us an opportunity to stop the negative trend.

Why is it important to measure, understand and reduce consumption?
We all have an impact on the climate, but by measuring our impact there is a chance to be more conscious and reduce our impact. It gives us an opportunity to stop the negative trend.

Why is a climate-smart credit card a good start?
Sweden is more or less cash-free and most of us have cellphone. To, black on white, get insights on our footprint might make us think twice before making a purchase. If it’s easy to act correctly it will be easier for many.

How can we together reach the climate goals?
That’s a really big question for me to answer, but I’m convinced that if we all starts reflecting on our own consumption of material things and what we eat we are on the right path. If we all make small choices in our everyday lives it will have a great effect.

Michel is one of our ambassadors using DO every day to understand and reduce their climate impact. DO is currently only available in Sweden but make sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date!

DO. Everyday Climate Action
