How does the climate crisis affect you?
Sweden has, so far, been somehow spared even if there are clear indications that in the future will be more apparent. Drought, a disturbed biodiversity and ecosystem out of bounce. I am worried and scared about the future and how the life of our children will look like.

How can we be more responsible regarding our climate impact?
To educate oneself is really important! To embrace facts and knowledge about the impact of our choices. The most important thing to do is to take the first step – starting with a something small in everyday life. That might be to have one vegetarian meal a week or ride the bike to work. When realizing that it’s not too hard I think people want to do more. We can self-inspire us!

Do you reflect on how your choices affect the planet?
Absolutely! I would say every choice is run through my own climate filter. If I am uncertain about stuff I look for information and facts to lead me in the right direction. It’s rather time consuming so I am grateful for every tool that can make my everyday choices easie

What are conscious decisions to you?
To me it’s some kind of hygiene factor. I live a highly privileged life where I can make environmentally conscious decisions for me and my family. It is a responsibility I think everyone who has that opportunity should take.

Every choice we, as consumers, make is off course important and the more alert we are on the consequences of our purchases, our decisions will be more well thought out.

Why is it important to measure, understand and reduce consumption?
Every choice we, as consumers, make is off course important and the more alert we are on the consequences of our purchases, our decisions will be more well thought out.

Why is a climate-smart credit card a good start?
A lot of people around me don’t know how to track their impact on their own. A tracking tool to better understand will be very important.

How can we together reach the climate goals?
As mentioned earlier, I think the key factor is to start. The climate crisis can be overwhelming and you don’t know where to start. If we start with something tiny I’m convinced it will spread to other parts of life, like ripples.

Emma is one of our ambassadors using DO every day to understand and reduce their climate impact. DO is currently only available in Sweden but make sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date!
