New solutions and perspectives need to be showcased in order to accelerate interest and action. Therefore Doconomy presented and hosted a stage in connection to World Economic Forum.

7 companies pitched in front of a jury of experts, audience and live-stream. The ambition was to provide a pop-up stage for entrepreneurs that we, and our partners, find valuable and promising with positive impact potential. The entrepreneurs were able to present directly in front of a jury of industry leaders and received live actionable feedback that all viewers could benefit from.

In-between the pitches there were senior thought leaders sharing perspectives in an intimate 1on1 interview format, moderated by Carola Ferstl. Commerz Ventures did a presentation about “A new ecosystem of financial technology startups is emerging.” and WWF presented their new Biodiversity Risk Filter, a tool to support companies and financial institutions in better understanding and addressing their biodiversity-related risks.

Under the theme ‘Cooperation in a Fragmented World’, World Economic Forum 2023 brought together more than 2,500 leaders from government, business, and civil society, at a pivotal time for the world.

Mathias founded Doconomy together with Johan Pihl and has spearheaded globally awarded forefront projects in Finance, Sustainability and Human Rights. He is a Sweden based renowned sustainability business leader and creative strategist who aim to innovate as well as making the complex communicate.

Carl-Johan leads Doconomy’s commercial team’s development of new markets and strong relationships to further amplify banks, brands and individuals ability to take climate action globally. Carl-Johan has vast international experience from the financial information industry, providing information, insights and technology that drive innovation and performance in global markets. He has been leading teams across Europe for LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters.

Denise works within Doconomy’s Commercial team and ensures that our clients—global banks, fintech companies, and financial institutions—are satisfied with all of Doconomy’s products and services. With a background in sustainable economics, Denise supports Doconomy’s clients in establishing their impact-focus solutions to drive climate action forward.
